Answer: It is not what you do; it is what you are, in consciousness. What you do stems from your mind. True freedom stems from consciousness beyond the mind. Truth is not intellectual. Realize your Truth that you are one with the Whole of God and directly face the Unknown; then, you are free.
True freedom stems from the Unknown. Until there is no separate self, the Unknown makes the ego feel insecure. Because of what you learned, you separate (breaks caused by mind) from your Truth. Fear and unrest of resisting Truth cause you to seek results. Then you may even strive for goals that are often spiritual in nature as the ego gains comfort in ideas that they are steps to Truth. The seeker creates more needs to seek.
When the breaks caused by mind are identified and repaired, you no longer seek. It is not outside you. You realize your Truth and directly face the Unknown; you are Free!
