In response to your issue regarding the shooting and killing of the children in the classroom; yes, it devastates parents, community members, and the whole of the country and even the world. An act committed by a young man, the shooting responded in part to his penned-up rage and mental confusion. Anger, bitterness, and retaliation were projected by all affected by the experience. With a heightened focus on the evil nature of the student/killer, the question was asked “Why does God allow these experiences?”.

The omnipresent activity of God does not dictate the experiences that exist in the world, evil or otherwise. The happenings represent life experiences (needs) that respond to our individual and collective consciousness. As this experience and its responses portray, resisting states of mind project evil, as well as fear, anger, and bitterness. Experiences correspond in the Infallible Way. It is infallible since experiences respond to consciousness.

Not only do these actions mirror the killer’s confused and angry state of mind. They also respond to the projections of the collective mind of society. In fact, those projections of bitterness and retaliation contribute to the young man’s anger and violence, which leads to the act of shooting and killing those innocent people. Yes, that is correct our projections of bitterness and retaliation contribute to the role player’s anger and violence and then, the shooting spree.

The resolve of these types of occurrences begins with the acknowledgment that experiences correspond, in the Infallible Way, to breaks caused by the mind not only of the shooter but all those that are affected by what appears as the slaughter and mayhem at a school in Texas. The breaks caused by the mind are fear, anger, rage, resentment, and retaliation. But our individual examination does not end with the acknowledgment; the affected individuals must repair the break caused by the mind.

Members of the society are quick to ask, “You mean this act is not wrong?” “Shouldn’t I be affected or angry by the shooting and killing of young children for that matter?” “Isn’t there more for us to do as a society such as a pass stricter gun laws”?

From Truth, we realize the omnipresent activity of God. Thus, it is not about wrong or right. In fact, it is not about competing or dual forces. Instead of implying polarity or opposing forces, such as positive and negative, good and bad, or wrong or right, we know experiences represent our needs for one purpose so that we ultimately awaken to Truth which is our unity with the whole of God. After all, we are in this life to overcome the challenges of human-hood to realize our true potential to live heaven right here on earth and peace inside.

And it certainly does not mean that we are devoid of compassion. On the contrary, a genuine awareness exists of the pain those affected must feel. It is difficult to imagine what a parent deals with when their child/loved one is killed, let alone die in a classroom by a senseless act of murder. However, from Truth, we overcome weakening responses caused by resisting state of mind.

Yes, there is more for us to do as members of society in recognizing our unique part in the Infallible Way. By realizing our Truth, one by one, we renew our sensitivity to the essence of the deceased children in the same way that we express compassion for those walking through their experiences. We know that individuals (such as the children in this example) play significant roles to support identifying and repairing breaks caused by the minds of all affected by the experiences. We express unconditional love, which encompasses the higher and truest perspective of compassion.

The question becomes “Should society ignore the action? Wouldn’t this lead to turmoil in the world, giving rise to more of the same kind of activity? Should we pass more stringent gun laws?” In the Infallible Way, societal needs to respond to the collective activity of the mind. As long as resistance to Truth exists, coping is the prevailing practice. We cast blame for experiences and then, learn to cope by establishing societal standards. Those standards regulate what seems like chaos and conflicts from the outside in. Such mode of regulating bears, including more stringent gun laws, short-term resolve. Yet, the short-term resolve is a need that prevents a resisting society from annihilation.

By awakening to our Truth, however, one by one we contribute to the overcoming of the need for experiences, such as killings in schoolyards. We project love and peace inside. The shift in the collective mind as minutely as it may appear shifts the need for similar incidents, including the role players that bring life to the experiences. More peace and love create the decline of incidents in our personal world and the world at large is realized at home, in our community, in our country, and on the larger world scale.
